That must be Muizenberg Beach, judging by the beach huts and Arnold’s comment yesterday about the lookout post for the sharks.

I prefer the beach at Fish Hoek; I think it is a much safer beach especially for families with children.

There are some great pictures of Muizenberg and Fish Hoek beaches on Wikipedia. There is also a nice bit of history about the early, early days of Muizenberg’s history.

@JoanHelen – I thought St James, because of the huts and the walled off pool :)

Wish I knew how to swim, mom would not allow and had swim from HS required but not since then. Looks relaxing I would end up sinking.

I say that in reality, if Arnold did go to the beach on a regular basis, he wouldn’t be the color of a frog’s belly.

Well, Evie looks like she’s finally relaxed in the water…losing 10 years off of your age helps, too! ;)

Jan, Thank You (!) for showing Evie’s interaction with Arnold; it is nice to see them getting along so well. I like seeing Evie’s visit to South Africa…there are many things I don’t know about it. ;)

I just ordered some eyedrops which have been shown to correct old age cataracts. I will start using them in about a week (when I receive them) and will follow my progess in the eye situation. I’m glad to report that I WAS able to correct my HBP without meds (although I can’t ENTIRELY credit the vegetarian diet & supplements ;-) I’m 76, and I want to stay healthy, darn it!
