I used to favor a very good, independent coffee shop in the college town where I worked. Now retired and living in Chicagoland, I do my (coffee) drinking at home.
I had coffee at the original (I think) Starbucks, near the Pike Place Market, back in the mid 70s. It was ok, but not great.
I went back a few years ago. They’d moved to just across from the Market. The coffee, atmosphere, and prices were just plain unpleasant. I’ll take a mom-n-pop shop any day of the week over Starbucks.
So, where is the Coffee Nook? I’d like to make it a regular stop.Besides, a Bearista with a shotgun. I’m in.

I get more buzz out of 1 scoop of Starbucks than 4 scoops of fresh ground. I think Starbucks is caffeine enhanced.

A nice little place with a Buckshot Bearista sounds quiet delightful
