It’s an election year. Forming the public opinion is important, and any news story that helps do that needs to be the focus of the news cycle. People need to know what we want them to know so that they can think what we need them to think and believe what we need them to believe.And it’s almost always an election year or the run-up to one.
That’s all it takes anymore. You don’t have to actually be guilty of anything anymore to have your reputation cut to bits. If you’re part of the right story, you’re history!
