You know what I liked most about the whole week…I loved all the reading Marcy tries to do and I hope I continue to be an avid reader as I grow older

    Marcy is no reader – she’s just a ‘book-miser’!

Someone is supposed to have asked Mark Twain about the number of books stacked all over his house. “Well,” he said, “it’s awfully had to borrow bookcases.”

My wife (a reading addict) always says, “Why buy books? All the books I could ever want are at the public library, and they even STORE them for me!”

“The arguments for Kindle, Smartphone, lap-top vs printed page have been thoroughly exhausted”.You can never really exhaust an argument and I shall argue that until I am exhausted.

A limit on borrowing? Would be nice if the government had one. (Yeah, I know that’s what the debt ceiling is supposed to be, but the way they keep raising it, it’s just a technicality.)

Marcy – its simple math. One 2-3 inch thick hardcover or one 1.5 inch pocketbook per day. Only take as many as you can safely carry in one arm. .the rest will still be there – or on reserve.

Perhaps Joe called the library to warn them.
