While Obama’s budget requests have actually lowered the DEFICITS, yes the DEBT continues to rise, in large part not even due to current spending, but the huge INTEREST TAB run up by previous administrations for such novelties as wars in Afghanistan and Iraq (including handouts to contractors like KBR/Halliburton) wasted spending on junk the military doesn’t want, or can’t use because it doesn’t WORK! (F-22 and F-35 now are costing TRILLIONS of dollars, for their cost overruns, and the interest on the money Sam borrowed to pay the contractors UP FRONT with NO guarantee the product would EVER WORK!

Once again, “conservatives” are abdicating responsibility for their parties irresponsible spending and are unwilling to pay off debt. 30 years ago there was a cry against spending now and letting our children pay for it. (conservatives{?}) And yet they spent worse than anyone without thought of repayment.They are still howling about our children and grandchildren paying for spending.Every time we get close to balancing income and spending, they push to reduce revenue.“Conservative are pushing for more borrowing and spending, I’ll take tax (tariff, fees, etc) and spend over that any day.
