This cartoon depicts that manufacturing jobs are bad for the American family (a grind): So why do politicians make efforts for its restoration to our economy ?

Usually I’m a happy lurker, but now you have me confused.Let’s see if I’ve got this right: Only the House can originate spending bills. So, to avoid House debate, the Senate Majority Leader hijacked a simple House bill relating to veteran housing. The “Honorable” Mr. Reid stripped out all but the first sentence, tacked on more than 2,000 pages of lobbyist-created healthcare wet dreams without even reading it, retitled it the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and rammed it through the Senate on a party-line vote, still without anyone bothering to read it. The President signed it, also without reading it, and since then the “Honorable” Mr. Reid has refused to permit any healthcare-related debate or House-originated bills to come to the Senate floor. But the Republicans are the evil, partisan, gridlocking obstructionists, right?Oh, and one other question: exactly when was it that “they did it, too” became moral justification for immoral acts?

Thank God for the president and his courage to get this law through despite all those that wanted to destroy it.
