    Doesn’t it depend on the state? Some states tax on the pre discount price, or used to anyway. That always seemed unfair to me.

    100-25=75

    75% of 80 = 60

    105% of 60 = 63

    The answer is $63.

    Why would anyone pay that much for a pair of tennis shoes? Mine cost $30, at full price, and they’re just fine.
