My gun safe has an adequate supply, and I have no fear that having a license to carry concealed, or even registering gun sales, will make them less safe. I do fear that those who can’t see “well regulated” as rational, are the dangerous ones.

BTW, been “Inside the wire” when mortars came over, and “outside the wire” when using a rifle, and machine gun, and pistol, which just furthers my fear of unqualified nuts getting guns. Guns are tools, I don’t love my crescent wrench, or socket set, or rifles and shotguns, but just know how to use them, and especially how to use the right tool for the right job. “Worship” folks ARE the scary ones.

Why is it that switchblade knives are outlawed? Why are civilians prohibited from owning military weapons?-Aren’t both of those direct infringements of everyone’s right to bear arms?

I guess the gun violence in the US is due to the Second Amendment right and the right to revolution.

Tiigger: when you finally reach second grade reading level, you will not I do NOT “love” my tools, just use them, including my guns. AND, I’m saying ONLY QUALIFIED people who understand the ethics of firearms use, and have competency in their use, should own them, that’s still a lot of people. (My indications from reading the “Armed Citizen” column in “American Rifleman” is that only about 5% of NRA MEMBERS seem to fall in that group, just going by how often that column cites shots fired and nobody TARGETED getting hit, but no report on who in the field of fire might have. Their anecdotal stories are extremely scary!!
