Hmm. They couldn’t get their string-and-can telephone to work, but then they were out of string to use to apply tension to their spatula catapult, so they had to use the Christmas lights.

Boy, that was quite the temperature change we had on Ballard St today, wasn’t it? Yesterday it was -4 and today its warm enough to sit on the porch. And Randy thinks the new neighbors just might be interested in a few of his own inventons!

It’s all fun and art, until the next time you need to flip a pancake.

Weird object with shiny lights… its just a distraction. The new neighbor is sneaking into Randy’s shed to ‘borrow’ some tools.

That’s not the way to get free satelliteTV. You need to use a wok and a few knitting needles behind the spatula.

Randy does not seem to understand the difference between creative and creative nuisance.

The Stussey clan was always a bit off the center of life’s compass. Ted liked to consider himself as someone who thought outside the box, while Stacia believed herself to be a “performance artiste”. Rusty was always eager to prove he was more than just a retired circus canine.Uncle Tesla Stussey was an inventor who dabbled in electronics. Unfortunately, he came to a shocking end.Aunt Mahitabelle Stussey was known for her rather risque dance recitals, where she bared her soul ( and much more ) for the sake of her art.

I see that Stel figured out that the family who just moved next door to Randy are the Stussey’s and Linguist gave us their back story.

I can definitely see that they are my kind of folks. My new friend will be in a costume this weekend, partly of my making and other bits he found here and there, and I’ll be in one of mine too. Temperatures may not be as warm as I like, so I may just be in something like a surcote (even with an extra cloak as I had here a few weeks ago).
