So, the 36% have typewriters? (Whate’er those are. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.)

So – imagine the pain of an ageing computer support tech, with not just one computer, but whole networks of them!

Whatever the weather, as soon as I sit in front of a PC or lap top my neck becomes very cold but it’s not painful. I think I need re-booting.

Get a new prescription for computer glasses, Opal. Then perhaps you can sit up straighter.

Not so much as we used to — we sit in one spot, and remotely attach to any one of the the others that needs help. But other days, it’s a “desk job” in another sense – crawling under, over, and behind dozens of desks, checking connections or swapping PC’s.

The other day my wife told me she slept on her neck wrong, and woke up with neck pain and a headache. In an attempt at levity I asked her if there was a right way to sleep on one’s neck. I also informed her that most people sleep on their side or their back. She had a hard time finding the humor in my statements, and actually seemed to prefer the pain reliever I brought her. Women— Sheesh , go figure.

Statistics are ambiguous figures for people who don’t have facts or any support for a convincing argument.

I thought he would say the other 36% are a pain in the neck
