Michael and Sherlock, you really believe everything you read on the internet, don’t you, as long as it conforms to your preconceived prejudices. If that fake story were true, it would have been in at least one newspaper in Colorado. Google “pot overdoses in Colorado” to find the true story about the latest in a long string of literally unbelievable hoaxes that have fooled gullible conservatives.
Well, at least this toon recognizes we who go for Lay’s potato chips, instead of those ghastly “Fritos”. Which, in backpacking trips we did carry them as fire starter, for which they work great!
How many have died due to radical conservatives starting wars against countries that did nothing to us? (While ignoring those nice Saudis that “W” literally kissed up to ?)
A tobacco store moved to a new location, leaving a shell of a building. The front was open except forvan iron gate. Through the gate, a woman picked tobacco leaves she thought were edible greens. She cooked and ate them. She died from tobacco poison.
Hi RV/Dred, 2 things:1) My name change, the first in, oh, 8-10 years on this site, is a protest. You have had at least 2 monikers on this site. My /nick still has my original /nick so as to alert the regulars who I am. It won’t confuse/fool anyone. My avatar remains the same through-out all these years despite brief uses of other images to illustrate something temporary. The last being a South African flag at half mast for a week or so.
2) Michael-wme often posts his own original posts, often very cleverly written. It’s excellent satire even if you disagree. I think his satire is excellent art, as do others. You’re welcome to disagree. In this instance he has opted to use another published satire piece and double-whammed it. He hasn’t claimed it as his own; he provides a link to it after-all. It’s a prop. Whoever follows it can ascertain whether or not it is a satire site.
Arian, personally I see the biggest problem with legalization is that THC, the active agent in marijuana, says in a person’s system for up to 30 days after use. This will cause massive problems for employers, workers, and the legal system..As an example, a commerical airline pilot uses marijuana on a Friday. Monday he is flying and the aircraft is involved in an accident. He is tested for drugs and such as the FAA requires and THC is found in his system. Regardless of the level I can guarentee that passengers, and everyone else involved will sue that airline for allowing their pilot to fly “stoned.”The same can be applied to commerical drivers, workers in any industry, and a plethora of other circumstances..If this were not the case I suspect marijuana would already be legal. But, because of this I think legalization will be a costly mistake.
Thanks Reasons! We won’t be fooled again!Hello to the new boss !Mama’s got a sqeezebox – er , sorry. Veered off into an inferior decade with that last one…

To all forum posters:
I like flies getting caught in webs spun by … others. It’s far more fun to watch; let’s not warn the prey or tip their hand. Why spoil the fun.
