Those on-air “hairdo weather folks” don’t even have the brains of a child, to come in out of the rain, hurricane, or blizzard. (And, unless it’s a huge storm, they usually call the weather wrong too boot!)
Dave Barry wrote a book where the 9 deaths in a hurricane were all reporters bringing live updates on a boy who may have been electrocuted due to a downed wire. The kept sending more reporters.
