Next time, put the power cord in a drawer to prevent said cat from chewing on it. Luckily I don’t have a pet in my place where such I thing can happen.

My cat chews cords. A 5V 1 Amp charger isn’t going to make an impression on a cat, whose fur creates static electricity 5 times that amount. She only chews cords that are dangling down, so I avoid that situation.

My cat doesn’t chew power cords either, but for reasons known only to her, likes to nibble the newspaper

I thought cord chewing was more of a rabbit thing. (says the person who has lost more than a few cords to those sharp little bunny teeth!)

I don’t have that problem with our two cats (my brother, his male friend and me). Of course, I keep my power cords hidden just in case.

My cats can’t chew my power cords because they are put away but , they liked going under my adjustable bed and messing with those cords. Keep the door closed so they can’t get in my bedroom now. Miss cuddling with them at night. Oh, well…….
