At last!That expression of Lucy and Snoopy so desperate and exhausted is priceless.Only thing I don´t like that much is that the exact moment of the kiss while still wrestling is kind of missing. I suppose that the cartoon was more fluid and showed it.

He actually hadn’t appeared yet when this first ran.

This sequence surprised me when it first ran. He had never shown any of the characters quite this disheveled before. The early strips were so precisely drawn, so tight. Later things would loosen up, and this provides a kind of transition.

Enjoyed this storyline as much as I did when first reading it in the newspaper all those years ago.

Very much looking forward to the next storyline in which brainless idiots on Go Comics post spoilers to ruin them, as well.

Well, he does when he’s the Masked Marvel. You know, like the flight helmet and flowing scarf when he’s the Ace WWI fighter pilot.

I don’t know when this originally ran, but I always read Peanuts as a kid and I think I remember this one. I thought it was sheer genius on Snoopy’s part; a real knowledge of his opponent. Sets Snoopy apart.
