I don’t know what John’s seeing out his window today, but here on the Mid-Atlantic coast, it’s 40 degrees and cloudy. There was some very fine snow this AM, but that’s gone now.
It’s 60 degrees here in L.A.; on the way from a low of 50 to about 66. My 4kwh solar is pumping 2.5 into the grid, good for this time of day and year. My wall calendars are just for the art; appointments are entered on my computer, which syncs with my phone.
Technology is wondrous, but it’s still easier to look at a calendar on the wall, and see a written note, than it is to summon it up on a computer. When away from home, having appt’s in a handheld is peachy. But I have yet to fall for the ’let’s scoff at anything that isn’t electronic" mindset.

My daughter gave me a calendar full of kittens for Christmas that I picked out and paid for. :) Happy New Year!

We got our new one- all ready to start filling up with appointments and whatnot. For Christmas I also received a pyramid clock.
