However, I have many friends who are amputees, paraplegics, blind, and with other disabilities, who’ve gotten education as necessary, and have never been without a job, even if they had to take “crap ones” to get by. This despite the fact it’s much harder for folks with disabilities to get hired, even with the ADA.
Which, a blind friend who’s always been employed has now, as of tomorrow, lost her job, because the company, a government sub-contractor to a contractor, has “reorganized” a bunch of people out of their jobs. This is one of many functions that “government” can actually do cheaper with their own employees, but contracting has led to lower wages for workers, or no job, and increased profits for those at the top of the corporate food chain.
Are there “lazy bums” getting money from the government for doing nothing? Yes, there are, and many of them are on corporate boards, lending their names or connections to be paid huge amounts of money, for an hour or two of their time every year.

The 5 million is a lie. It’s more like 500,000, and that’s about how many “lose” it each year because of how the “Free Market” works anyway — insurance companies always raise rates and discontinue policies, but in previous years, they haven’t had Obama to blame.
Oh, and those who can’t navigate the web were supposed to be getting in-person help, but GOP regulators moved to shut down that system in the name of helping their fatcat pals in the insurance industry maintain their stranglehold.

Obama brags that perhaps a million have signed up for O Care! And he ignores the 5 million who have lost their Med Insurance.
And many seniors can not navigate the computer trail to sign up for Obama’s Foley.
