Used to be just called pawn shops. But, a friend went to work with her husband as “payday lenders”, their interest rates were high, because of the risks, but they weren’t nearly as exploitive as so many allowed to operate today, about “deregulation” and “trickle down”.
No one forces anyone to use them.That’s right. If people are able to take advantage of others, we should be all for that! It’s an American tradition that should be celebrated. Maybe we can get the people who don’t pay back their loans to be forced to work for the lender until they pay off the loan. /sarcasm
