Every day is a new day, not just the First of January.

If she had not been there, Adam would have gotten up. At least Adam is thinking about tomorrow, though.

How in the world can you nap with that stuff in your bloodstream? Not that it’s bad (going for another cup myself).

Wish I could have gone back to sleep this morning, but two dogs with small bladders and large appetites wouldn’t let me.

As George Gobel used to say, “it’s just last year with a new number tacked on”.

Why celebrate a new year in the dead of winter, anyway? Adam has the right ides; turn over and go back to sleep. Springtime – there’s a new year for you! Long days, returning birds, warm weather.

Love that feeling when you can turn over in a nice warm bed and get some extra sleep. Happy New Year!

I got to sleep in late today, and will do so until I have to go back to work on Monday.

The football game that I wanted to watch started at 11 am. I had to get up by 10:45 to watch it.
