Look CLOSELY at Panel 2 and you will discover that the Can says Tomatoes. Flash Steamed,Stewed or Diced is anybodys Guess but… they Are tomatoes.

It still looks like a beet to me. Though killer tomatoes or mutant peaches sound good. But no one wants to deal with a strawberry that has gone bad. Once they walk on the dark side – nothing can turn back to the light. lol
