I’m speechless most of the time re: Trout’s home life.

There is still so much to learn, Agnes. But please take your time, your innocence is so charming.

I wonder how much Granny already knows about Trout’s mom? It’s not as if Trout wasn’t already over there a lot, but Granny might want to ok more sleepovers, once she’s feeling better, of course.

@Bruno AND edlectric: Boys, you are making me chuckling a little too inappropriately.

I suspect Granny already knows plenty about Trout’s Mom. But Agnes needs friends her own age, and Granny defers to that.

Granny’s thinking she better take care of herself and live long enough to see Agnes into adulthood. And you boys here (you know who you are) – be nice. (and, yes, I laughed)

Take good care of yourself, Grandma, so you won’t have to rely on Trout’s mom again! Having Agnes as a house guest must not have cramped mom’s style any! As I’ve said before, I know so many real life Agnes and Trouts,, and their families. It’s true, while the strip is hilarious and one of my favorites, the real thing isn’t.
