So, Tracy being Tracy The Invincible, he’ll be the first to break the curse of the Coiste Bodhar….

I can hardly wait to see what happens next. We’re coming up to the moment we’ve been waiting for for some time it seems.

You didn’t say Dick Tracy couldn’t bring his gun Rikki, all you said was he was to come alone. Guns are the exception to the rule. There’s gonna be a shoot out yall!

—A one-way trip for the coachman, I suspect, silly little Rikki. Tracy knows how to play with the big boys….

Rikki is far too confident. She’s apparently too young to understand just who exactly she’s going up against. And if she thinks Abner Kadaver is a match for Tracy, she’s really in for a very nasty surprise.

Let’s see, 2 counts of abduction, plus what other charges the DA can conjure up. And especially that it is relatives of a law enforcement officer. Hmm, Ms Mortis will be well past menopause before she gets out of the slammer!

From one who used to complain from time to time about the gocomics coloring — wow. Dramatic improvement, and the overall quality is high every day. Well done, gocomics!

The star is on her right cheek, about halfway back. It is simply not in view in panel 2, as her head is turned.

What’s that magnifying glass outline on her arm in panel two? And, I assume there’s a manhole above Tracy in panel three.

Nice catch, SDM, on her cheek star. She probably has a star tattooed on her “other” cheeks, as well.

Rikki’s line in P3 reminds me of something. Surely that’s a line said by Mr Potter in “It’s a Wonderful Life”. Can anyone verify?

Not to put a damper on anyone’s day, but, my long absence has to do with being stressed and busy helping to plan the funeral for my Dad who died Mon morning; I really wasn’t in the mood to read the “funnies”

nitpicker matt.. unless you have 360 degree telescopic vision you CAN’T see the right side of rikki’s face.. and since you noticed the star in panel three… compare it’s location THERE to where it would have been in panel two… panel two would have it OBVIOUSLY out of view of the “camera”

Comment on the coloring: I have always thought the Comics Kingdom coloring for Tracy was better than GoComics. But about two weeks ago, it almost appears that the two organizations swapped colorists!

TY SDM…. It happened so fast, over the last 2 weeks, the cancer weakened him and he got pneumonia, he seemed to age 20 years in that time and I knew he hadn’t a long time left… it’s difficult to know that I’ll never see my Dad again.

Thanks for the kind greetings, Pequod77 and Gweedo. I’ve been on a bit of a DT hiatus since the Moon Maid story ended, but I’m getting back into it now that the current story is heating up. :)

My condolences, MikeyJ……remember he had all those years he lived BEFORE you were born, and you have no guarantee of even tomorrow, so live your life to the fullest every day, realizing that’s what parents who love their children would want them to do! And if you do a kind deed for a stranger in his name from time to time, he will live on forever…

Tracy should have replied “well, if it’s a one way trip, then that means Bonnie and the Rev are going to be killed afterwards, too”.

Wonder who will rescue Tracy this time…….Rikki? BB Eyes? Sam? Liz? Abner’s too good to be beaten one-on-one…..we already know that!

For the record, I do believe that Rikki’s head is sufficiently turned away in Panel 2 for the star not to be visible, but I’m still wondering what happened to her “thinnest of disguises” mustache. It seems like it abruptly disappeared after Ray and Bonnie got into the coach.

I just wish she wouldn’t wear that Bowler so high on her head.
