Imagine all the business people Skyping/ FaceTiming with everyone raising their voices to be heard for the entire length of a flight. For starters.

I’m a communter from Long Island into the city each day and if riding on the train at 6:05am each day with that volume of cell phone chatter is any indication of what to expect…LORD help us. Data…YES! Voice…NO!! It’s bad enough airlines are charging for baggage (I fly on those that don’t whenever possible for business or personal). You can bet the legacy carriers will be all over figuring out a way to make money on this. LOVE the part about the non-phoning section although this will probably work out as well as the non-smoking section in restaurants in the South. I still haven’t figured out what’s supposed to keep the smoke from floating from one table (non) to the one next to it (smoking). Gonna be the same on planes.

Hey, it’s a free country! That means I don’t have to respect anyone else’s rights.

BTW, people talk loud on their phones ’cause otherwise, how would those around them know how -important_ they are?

Boy, you’ve struck gold with this line of humor Sorensen. If people think screaming, out-of-control kids and loudmouth drunks are a pain, wait until they have to put up with a cabin full of empty-headed, motor mouths yammering on their cell phones. Love it.
