Wow, speak of the Devil. It’s not boring now.

AH, the truth is revealed, Boyd is a DEMON, keeping Lila from happiness by making well-timed snarky comments about any and ALL romantic possibilities.

She NOT an unrealistic Loser, She’s a target of DARK FORCES!

(Whew! I almost thought it was HER fault.)

Boyd may be the Prince of Darkness and the Father of Lies, but at least he can handle the subjunctive mood.

And the fun-loving young woman wouldn’t happen to be a short-haired blonde named Drew?

Now, y’all know how Hollywood would spin this. Boyd would remain the Prince of Darkness, and Lila would become an (incompetant) good witch (from Slytherin) and they would share an apartment over a HellMouth in Cleveland. (Hey, I’m from Ohio – I know Cleveland!)

Every episode would be a situation comedy where an oblivious Drew would be snared into one of Boyd’s Evil Plots to gain her soul, Lila would foil the Evil Plot, rescuing Drew, however they would all remain friends and go out for coffee…

Now a title … Hmm. ‘Daily Torment’?

Well. Isn’t that special?

that show would be “The New Girl”

Ah. Y’see, I don’t have cable TV – too expensive from the local monopoly ($130/month for very basic cable), and I didn’t watch much when I had it!

By the way, what’s Lila eating? Ice cream? Yogurt?
