John 21:14-17New International Version (NIV)14 This was now the third time Jesus appeared to his disciples after he was raised from the dead.15 When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.” 16 Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.” 17 The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my sheep!"
I seriously doubt it. There’s too many different denominations within Christianity. Some Christians firmly believe that their beliefs are the only real beliefs and all others are false. Others only believe in the idea of Christianity. They don’t adhere to the actual teachings of Christ.
Who’s starving in the US Lib-ConMan?Links?Being a little hungry and having a crappy apartment is what convinced most of us to work hard. Maybe you should try it.
Sometimes a wake up call comes at inopportune times and is depressing, but I appreciate Mr. Pett drawing our attention to these unfortunate truths. If you think it’s depressing to talk about it, think of how depressing it will be if we don’t change anything and destroy the planet.
