Awww! Carolina’s skirts have gotten LONGER!

    Really now, is that fair?

    P. S. – I Love Andrew’s ’fro, and am glad he kept the ’stache and beard. Some things SHOULD be forever.

Has Melvin lost some weight? Love the uni-brow. If Carolina bent over in that dress, we’d all get a look at the full moon. Oy, that’s short, even for the sixties.

Carolina looks so beautiful with the lipgloss and eyeshadow!

Happens in Hollywood. The new studio boss kills projects already in the works, because they were started under the old regime.

One of my favorite strips growing up was Lolly, by Pete Hansen… I salute you, Scott!

Once again, all the credit for these Sunday’s goes to Scott. He has a vast knowledge of the history of cartooning.

Lolly! I enjoyed that strip, even though I was seldom able to read it since it wasn’t in the local papers. I agree with Leo above – I really like Andrew with the afro! Great leering by Melvin and Sal. I’ll keep my comments on Carolina to myself.I have really been enjoying the Sunday strips – kudos to TSR!

Carolina must now be relying more on her brains than on her legs.

The legend is that “Beverly Hillbillies,” “Green Acres,’ ’Mayberry RFD” and all similar shows were purged because the networks suddenly wanted to kill the entire rural genre and go urban. There’s a tale of a network chief’s wife being embarrassed by a remark at party about these shows. Most were doing very well in the ratings.

@Thomas Scott Roberts… I actually meant that Melvin appears larger in this panel than he did the last time I saw him in the current time. So, Melvin may have lost some weight since the sixties.
