Why is it that conservatives object whenever Obama actually governs or asks them to govern? They only want to talk about Obamacare, a policy that is already the law of the land, has insured hundreds of thousands of previously uninsurable Americans, is starting to work quite well, and has zero chance of being repealed. The real distraction they want is from John Boehner being unable to pass immigration reform, a defense bill, a farm bill, gun safety legislation, ENDA, equal pay for equal work, or even the most rudimentary kick-the-can-down-the-road budget extensions. The fact that Obama is able to actually do stuff makes the GOP look terrible.
ARod, a couple of questions for you:.What do you consider “immigration reform?”.How much more “…gun safety legislation…” do we need and what form should that take?.A farm bill? For what destruction of the plains in the quest to plant more corn for ethanol, a failed “Green” program that is neither cost effective or environmentally friendly?.Equal pay for equal work? What? No longevity pay? No proficency pay or bonuses? What does that mean and how do you measure it?.As for Obamacare more people are facing losing their insurance than have signed up for a policy under it..Obama looks terrible because he is pathetically terrible. That stuff is just proof of it. The reason Obama can’t get any of that passed is because people in Congress are actually reading the bills and don’t like what’s in it. The days of Pelosi and Reid passing crappola without reading it are done.
