    The 5-7-5 model seems so depressing in this weather. Maybe haiku fit better with Spring….

    My city dumps the snow cleared from streets in a field near the edge of the city. We had so much snow last winter that the dump site never melted completely, and was still 11 feet high when they started puting THIS year’s snow on it.

    I love the way the snow pile is depicted as a dirty black mess; much more realistic.
