Is it possible to like reading comics here, and still have time to watch sports? Wouldn’t it make sense to just read more comics?

Poor Richard. Whatever else, he’s doomed to being a fan of the W*sh*ngt*n Redskins [see? I made that inoffensive—the way the team plays]. That alone explains burn-out, depression, moving on, and energetic apathy….

Despicable faux combat. But I had a second cousin who was paralyzed in a high school scrimmage, so I’m a tad prejudiced.

Try Mahlers 2nd! for a real kick.

I used to listen to Mahler’s 6th symphony quite often when I was in college. Oddly, it raised my spirits! I still enjoy listening to it now and then.

Mahler’s 9th puts a smile on my face. His “Kindertotenlieder” (Songs on the Death of Children), not so much.
