If you like your food stamps you can keep your credit card.

Hold on – is this comparing the suffering in the Philippines, to people HERE, who are deprived of their safety hammock? That’s kinda sick.

While I agree that the Filipinos who are living in instant devastation are not a fair comparison to food stamp recipients…..we must remember that there are a fair number of politicians who were, and still are, unwilling to help Americans after disasters: Katrina and Sandy were prime examples of “if it isn’t happening in my district, screw ‘em; we don’t have the money”.

Fortunately that is not (yet) the majority opinion.

Poor wal-mart. Wow…Talk about victims! How much of your tax money goes to subsidize wal-mart’s sweet land permits, road construction deals, and local tax exemptions?

The food stamp program is actually very cost-effective. For every dollar that goes out, approximately $1.75 is recirculated into the economy because people in poverty spend it right away. Unlike tax cuts for the rich, who take the money they get and hoard it oversees.

So, are you suggesting that the Food Stamp program generates a net positive income, that is it makes money?!

“Food Stamps is a temporary help and not the permanent replacement for honest work.”.No. It’s intended to purchase votes for Democrats.

So, David are you suggesting that Food Stamps and welfare in general operate at a net profit in the economy?

Wal Mart and “big agriculture” have not HARDLY been damaged by food stamps, quite the opposite! “Welfare” programs SHOULD be a hand up, not a permanent “hand out”, like given to ConAgra, ADM, Cargill, EXXON Mobil, Raytheon, BofA and Citibank, Phillip Morris(they’re a LOT more than a cigarette company anymore!), and tons of corporate folks like Merck, Phizer, and others!,

Give it to the needy but not the greedy.. That’s the problem with our free food program! We let people take that don’t deserve.

Wait! This strip would be perfect if there were some Coach purses on the women, perfect manicures, iphones at their ears and some Cadillac Escalades in the rear of the mob. THAT would make this scene realistic……but way to try and put the heat on the conservatives trying to take some of the waste that’s going to the deadbeats on welfare. Oh, and if you think that 100% of the welfare recipients NEED it, you must be in Colorado smokin’ some of the dope they just made legal!
