Sometimes that’s true. In this instance, I am attempting to show that the powderkeg in the Middle East has existed for millennia, and it is foolish to make it appear as though, if only Mr. Obama and Mr. Kerry were more capable, this problem would be easily solved. That is how I interpreted the cartoon, rightly or wrongly.
But as long as you bring that up…..at least Mr. Kerry pretends to try. Ms. Rice’s “attempts” reminded me of OJ Simpson’s attempts to look for the “real killers”. Lip service; no expectations.
