Morning, Vagabonds. Wow, I’m the first one here this morning.I just finished the chapter dealing with the assassination of Morgan Earp. In the movies, you may remember Wyatt bending over Morgan as Morgan whispers his dying words in Wyatt’s ear. The scene was played out well in “Hour of the Gun,” as well as “Wyatt Earp.” Eye-witness accounts say this actually happened. Later Wyatt said that Morgan told him that the only thing he regretted was that he never had the chance to get even.
Good morning, Vagabonds. Last night’s Advent service and party was very nice, topped with a Mariachi concert. I had a full night’s sleep – that’s why I wasn’t the first to post this morning.
Happy Friday the Thirteenth Vagabonds..I hope none you are superstitious..My Grandmother (mother’s side) would not sit at a table if she was going to be thirteenth person sitting there.On the other hand our pastor loves the number thirteen.You decide..Mid teens this morning, the sun should be shining on the ridge now, so I guess it’s overcast..Have fun all..ttfn

We finished shopping, and mailed the two packages, and now we have to wrap and pack for our journey south next week. We’ll be leaving Wednesday, weather permitting. So, we will enjoy our last few days of the cold. It only got down to 32 this a.m. Not too bad.
Had a wonderful time at the clubhouse last nite, beautifuldecorated tree as always. wore my red sweater and Santa hat as always. Good buffet of great food. They gave adultsand children tickets for gift drawings through out the evening.
Met several new residents in the community here and we all enjoyed the holiday gathering
