Well, you’ll at least get 7 people to come see you.

I hope she at least invited some friends (I would, if I wrote a book, or had a blog). When chatting with someone on TMZ Live (They message me on Skype and when I’m not busy I’ve Skyped on the show) the person suggested that I blog on YouTube because I have opinions on just about everything and am rather outspoken.

Now that I’ve given that some thought I know it’s a bad idea. I almost never mention politics, religion or anything controversial on my FB because I like all my friends – I know each of them from various groups where I participate and I know them to be very diverse. I enjoy the company of all, but they would not like to hear what I seriously think of some of their beliefs (so I restrain from expressing them). Only on GoComics do I feel I can be truly myself (because even though I am as I represent, I do not use my NAME).

I’ve been in book stores where there’s been an author signing and nobody queueing. I’ve never heard of them and presumably, hardly anyone else has.

Happens to celebrities too. Many years ago there was a comedy duo called Bob and Ray. They wrote a book. Husband and I went to local Bloomingdales for their book signing. We were the only ones there and spent a great deal of time with them.

One of the things they did was the first stereo TV. They made arrangements with 2 local TV stations. One needed 2 TVs set up a set distance apart with each tuned to a specific station. They would, say throw something from the station on the left TV to something on the right TV. It was very creative and they were very deadpan funny. They were rather popular so we were surprised to be the only ones there.

Bob is the actor Chris Elliot’s dad.
