Where are the trees in their autumn colors? Oh, is that an Oregon evergreen in the back? That’s OK, Val is in her autumn colors!

I love Fall and Winter. Summer is not my favorite. Hot flashes and southern humid high temps do not go well together.

Oh, I love autumn! I wish it lasted 6 months. It makes me feel so content and happy.

Alix will be like me and move to AZ when she’s able. I lived much of my life in the Midwest and always hated the weather. The only thing I miss since moving in ‘98 is a great man; but he’s in business there and will never move, so even my heart must move on (with a little make-over on this old face). We have the best weather in the country (yes, the 120 in the summer is fine too because it lets me enjoy swimming at night).

I live in WI and I like that the seasons change every couple of months! There are things to like and not lime about all the seasons!

I’m with many of you, the only good thing about summer is the fashion choices of the ladies. I’ll take fall & winter over spring & summer anytime!

I have lived in South Africa (up on the interior plateau, the Great Karoo), in Oregon (Eugene area), and in Hong Kong, as well as my present home in SW Missouri. I must say that I definitely like having four distinct seasons, with bright Autumn colors and at least a modicum of snow. I could do without the frequent summer droughts around here, but no place I have been is perfect.

No place, country or state, may perfect- yet I have been in 58/50 states and 29 countries and I found something of beauty in each one.

Yeah, why?
