Because it’s cheaper than the domestically produced alternative that if purchased would promote the domestic economy and make the ACA affordable for everyone. I.E. it’s a GOP plot to stop the ACA.
Cora: because you can’t find anything made in the USA anymore, thanks to “business models” created by a conservative Congress over the years to allow domestic production to crash, of almost anything! Try buying “Made in USA” clothing- oh, right, it was those nasty unions that drove manufacturing overseas!
