Look at the numbers before you make an uncalled for snarky comment. It’s math based on russell5419’s numbers. He said single coverage cost $350 per month and insurance for a family of 4 was $850. The coverage for the family of 4 is about 2 to 2.5 times the cost of the single coverage, but it’s covering 4 people. If you look at the cost per person, the family of 4 coverage breaks down to $220 per person, while single for the single person is $350. While the family coverage adds up to a higher amount, they’re getting a better deal per person for their coverage than I’d be getting for my single coverage.
