    People did a good job of cleaning up after Superstorm Sandy. Surely they can handle a little park like this.

    I worked for a parks department for 25 years. It was very common to spend all day Monday and sometimes Tuesday just picking up litter. I often wondered if people did this at their homes.

    I’d have to keep a close eye on my dog or she’d be volunteering to pick up (and try to eat) a lot of that stuff.

    Volunteers – who don’t deserve to be treated badly, when doing it. Some people let their dogs do their jobs on others’ lawns. Bad person/people!
