Really? Really? His job is glom onto as much money as possible for his state? Sheesh, talk about your leaches, 47% and people taking all that Free Stuff. They know because they are the ones doing it, at the expense of the rest of us. What a bunch of hypocrites.
he does bring home pork. the way he brings back pork is questionable. wonder if other conservatives who rant against gov’t spending bring pork home to their districts and states.
I don’t support McConnell, however I wouldn’t exactly call the funding of a dam to be kickback. The sad part is not a “corrupt politician” The sad part is that critical infrastructure such as dams arn’t getting funding as
A) it is a safety hazardB) it would produce jobs to fix / build a new oneC) it would increase real estate value or atleast allow real estate to sell.
Hmm. look at the strategy that led to funding the F-22 (a total failure), the F-35 (a failure in progress), and ordering still more tanks the Army doesn’t want or need. Spread the pork as wide as possible, and you’ve got the whole MIC success model. Mitch is just playing the same politics that’s been used for over a century. The question is who sells the screws, and who gets them.

I’m sure Kentucky Senator Rand Paul will introduce legislation to give the pork back. He’s a man of principle, right? Right?
