These include the various debt ceiling, government shutdown, and fiscal cliff standoffs, none of which were necessary, and all of which had a role in slowing the economy.

2. Take on your policy battles when you hold the votes and offices to do so. The ACA will not be repealed so long as Obama or any Democrat is president. Deal with that. Don’t drag down the rest of us because you can’t accept that reality.
Why? It reminds me of high school and the names we applied to teachers. I’m a fan of clever wordplay. Just because they’re rude or unfair doesn’t make them unacceptable, especially in politics. Several silly political slogans and labels have tipped the scale one way or another. The name Obama seems conducive to puns because of the vowels at the beginning and end. Sticks and stones, etc.

True Socialism is not that different from True Christianity. I’m referring to what Jesus actually taught; not the crap that comes out of today’s organized religions.

I agree that marxist communism was and is a proven failed system, primarily because it allowed greed and corruption. Kind of like capitalism, isn’t it?
