It’s both a tragedy and a farce. As Twain wrote, “a grotesque and foolish dream.”

Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor playerThat struts and frets his hour upon the stageAnd then is heard no more: it is a taleTold by an idiot, full of sound and fury,Signifying nothing.

I think musicals have fallen out of favor since Gene Kelly hung up his dancing shoes.

Special Effects: If I can get through the drama at work on Monday without my boss’ face turning purple, I’ll consider it VERY successful.

I’ve often thought life would be better if we could just have an occasional song and dance production number to liven things up.

If you want special effects Calvin you should go see The Hobbit, Desolation of Smaug. Is the two step a dance number???

Apparently, neither you nor Ghost01 have the slightest idea of what the Marxist Theory actually is.

“The Marxist Theory states that society is basically the struggle between the social classes. Capitalism is really the exploitation of the working class and that to stop this, the working class has to gain power through a social revolution.”

Given that both the conservatives and Obama are solid capitalists, this descriptor is patently ridiculous. Really, if you are going to perjoratively label someone, you should at least know the meaning of the label you are applying.

Also, I would advise you to remember that history did not begin on January 20, 2009. The policies that GW Bush set in place, such as two unfunded, off the books wars, unfunded Medicare Part D and further deregulating Wall Street, set the stage for the global economic collapse that began in 2008 and came to it’s full destructive force in early 2009. So, yes, Bush still does deserve the criticism with respect to the origins of the collapse. Both the Republicans and the DINO’s deserve the outrage that Congress has been receiving for their absolute failure to address the needs of the 99%. The Republicans stated publicly that they would do anything and everything to insure that Obama would not succeed and if they had to take the entire country down in the process, as John Boehner put it, so be it. The DINO’s think only about saving their own job and do nothing for the jobless out of fear of a primary. This sorry state of affairs is the reason for the worst two Congresses in American history and it’s a shame.

Night, another word: There is a solar system of possible thought and behavior between the Klan / Third Reich and political correctness. The one point where they do touch is that all three are utterly repressive of, not just speech, but ideas. The very operation of the individual human mind comes under their purview, according to them. Be so very careful of that pendulum swing.

I just want to say that in a world where practically everybody would say “everybody is ad llibbing their lines” to find Calvin and Bill being grammatically and logically correct with “his lines” fills me with joy and optimism. Keep “joy”. Strike “optimism”.

the fact is, understanding is based on the pneumatic structure. so if something is outside of the structure, people cannot understand it, period. what it boils down to is in reality there are very few stupid people. but there are a lot of people who do stupid things and believe only what the want to believe.
