Well that was insightful on so many levels. A good cure fo Batman is Duck tales. Now THAT song is stuck in your heat!

Some municipalities play Barry Manilow songs through speakers set up in areas that are frequented by juvenile delinquents (particularly at night), and his songs repel them very effectively. (When asked about this unusual use of his music he was bemused, but pleased that it is helping to protect the public.) Also, the closing theme of the “Barney the Dinosaur” show on PBS (“I love you, you love me…” has been used to psychologically ‘soften-up’ terrorists (it makes sense, as people who are animated by hate would be driven batty by loving, cheerful music).

I also read the Batman song in Marigold’s sooper sekrit horse voice. Lol That is forever going to be how she sounds to me now.

Here…. Allow me to help clear that out…
Big blue eyes, pointy nose, chasing mice and digging holes, tiny paws, up the hill….suddenly you’re standing still! Your fur is red! So beautiful! Like an angel in disguise, but if you meet a friendly horse, would you communicate by mor or or orse, mor or or orse, mor or or orse, how would you communicate with that hor or or orse, hor or or orse, hor or or orse….WHAT DOES THE FOX SAY?!

According to “glove and boots” the best cure for an ear worm is “I wanna be sedated” by the Ramones. Believe me, it works!

“How very human”…sounds like a comment Spock would say. I wonder if Marigold has ever visited Vulcan. This one fooled me though, I assumed it was going to be a song about her beauty or something. Well played Dana.
Mataata over 10 years ago
I imagine she’d sing it like an opera singer.

Where it gets stuck depends on the type of song. But I wouldn’t think the Batman theme would get stuck in either the heart or the head.

Hello. I’m Mister Ed.
A horse is a horse, of course of course, and no one can talk to a horse of course. That is of course, unless the horse,is the famous Mister Ed!
Go right to the source and ask the horse. He’ll give you the answer that you’ll endorse. He’s always on a steady course.Talk to Mister Ed.
People yakety-yak a streak, and waste your time of day.But Mister Ed will never speak, unless he has something to say…
A horse is a horse, of course of course, and this one will talk ’til his voice is hoarse. You never heard of a talking horse?Well, listen to this…
I AM MISTER ED !

I’m afraid the one I’ve had for the last month or so is a bit heavier: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nwE7drBggc (No English version on Youtube, but the gist of it is, ”Where is that beautiful, mysterious woman I met at Mardi Gras? I want to see her again!” You see, he’s had /her/ stuck in his head, and heart….)

I was not able to get to my computer until today. I really enjoyed this Sunday strip. The song I sometimes get stuck in my head (or, I guess, my heart) would be a tune from that fantasitic group, Monty Python. The Traiffic Light Song. Only, I hear it sung by sheep. It’s very weird.
Atrius5000 over 10 years ago
I’m new to this strip. Is the unicorn supposed to be real, or imaginary?
