Better to make the effort to negotiate with Iran (who we’ve double crossed for decades) than to trust Netanyahu and the right wing in Israel. There ARE people in Israel we should deal with, but as long as Likud keeps power, and maintaining what are essentially prison camps in Gaza and the West Bank, ignoring the international communities calls for some justice, that is the country that represents the real threat in the Middle East.

I don’t trust ANY theocracy, and that includes both Iran and Israel, but we’ve pretty much wiped out the secular governments in the region, which is pretty stupid!!

What I’ve found in my personal travels, and friends I’ve met from a round the world (Israel too), Rick Steves trip to Iran was rerun on OPB this week, and it is the interviews with the PEOPLE of nations, NOT their “leaders” that should actually dictate our actions, including openness to negotiate!

I didn’t like the government in Saigon, but found the PEOPLE of Viet Nam to be quite “agreeable” and friendly. (Even some of the ones who occasionally shot at us!) LIke Iran, maybe if we hadn’t betrayed Ho Chi MInh, and th people of Viet Nam, in 45, 48, and 53, we wouldn’t have been there from 65 to 75??

We agree! Screw those species whom become extinct due to any number of factors, including but not limited to: surface temperature increase, oceanic acidity change, atmospheric composition, and any other of the measurable but still wholly manipulated pseudo-sciences. We need not those incapable of rapidly adapting in our modern, GDP-Maximizing, world anyway. God And Profits will solve all.
