I am mad that the government got involved in this business at all. That goes from FDR who instituted wage and price controls in WW 2 and got this whole mess rolling to Obama today with his idiot idea of “fixing” health insurance..What I would like is a return to a free market for routine medical care and insurance only necessary for catastrophic conditions.My own version would be that everyone could open a medical savings account pre-tax and up to a certain level at the end of the year they could withdraw up to 50% of the remaining amount tax free as a bonus for being healthy.Employers could do the same for their employees. They would get to split the remaining funds at the end of the year the same way.Everybody has a catastrophic policy with a say $5000 deductable and pays into that insurance pool. The cost of such a policy would be very low compared to the idiot ones they are pushing out to cover everything now..That is a quick version of my suggested fix and it wouldn’t take 2700 pages of idiocy to make it work..At least I have alternatives and suggest them to the broken system made worse, far worse, by Obamacare. I want to change the system not just add a huge bureaucracy and how payments are made like Obamacare does. Doing the later changes nothing and just adds costs.
