1. “Idiots anonymous” called the right-wingers, need to realize that every law has to be implemented through regulations, and every day, the Federal Register, for DECADES has been a daily thick document, that puts ALL regulations out for PUBLIC REVIEW AND COMMENT, before they take effect! Granted, few folks subscribe to this publication, but it grows tiring that even “conservative” staffers in Congress don’t seem to bother to “keep up”.
2. Republicans in the majority in the House have been writing tons of LAWS in committee, to take away Executive authorities to write regulations, and instead micro-manage agencies with laws, that are usually too stupid to believe! They then insert these into “must pass” bills, just as the Senate can do in “conference”. A prime example of stupid is DOCTOR Coburn (and low IQ Senator) who inserted into law that National Park Service must now allow LOADED AND CARRIED firearms, instead of allowing people to have UNloaded, and cased, or out of reach firearms when passing through our parks. SInce that became law, fatal gun incidents are up over 300% in the parks, including a 3 year old killed by a loaded pistol last week. Yes, when the wind comes whipping off the plains, the stupid blows from out of Oklahoma. (Inhofe is even stupider than Coburn!!)
I’m sorry, but those health care rankings are so full of meat byproducts as to be pure bologna. They’re mostly based on the percentage of the economy the government pumps into the system. They rank Cuba and many third-world countries higher than the US simply because of that. It has little if nothing to do with actual QUALITY of care.
