it is sad to see an once distinguished person like mccain fall to the ravages of time

The US does not negotiate with terrorists. That includes domestic, congressional terrorists.

Whiners on the left are complaining about someone not negotiating? You guy don’t see your hypocrisy, do you? You’re all led around by the nose.

All of this controversy could have been easily avoided simply by repealing People United. That gave corporations personage hood. They now run the government, with campaign contributions and promises of fat salary jobs as lobbyist. Who going to benefit the most them or the average tax payer. I’m betting it won’t be us.

I guess you don’t that this dead of night bill is opposed by the People…… but they-we don’t count!

Tigger, the ACA is the law of the land, duly passed by both houses of congress, approved by the supreme court, and supported by overwhelming vote of the people against those who would repeal it. The terrorists here are the ones opposing the will of the voters, of whom 80% in recent polls do NOT want a government shut down over the ACA.

So tanking our entire economy over an unrelated issue is showing character but refusing to do so is wrong? I see.
