Christie is a hard-right politician who is smart enough to know that he can’t get elected if he doesn’t appear to work with the other side — even though his actual stands are quite reactionary. For example, he’s defunded Planned Parenthood, regularly beat up on middle-class public workers, frequently screamed at teachers, and opposed pay equity for women.But he has made huge mileage out of his “bromance” with Obama post-Sandy. Reality check: he didn’t need to follow orders from the right wing, he IS the right wing.
