Obama used both the talk (with the Russians in June of 2012), and then offered up a stick to get peoples’ attention, not just Assad’s. To still not swing the stick, but use it as a diplomatic strategy, something Cheney and Rumsfeld et al never understood, is smarter. “W” only cut brush and let them carry the ball, losing yardage at every stage of the game.
Why wasn’t there a background check on the clown before he was given the bat? If lib standards were used for the check, he would never have been able to put his hands on the bat and we would all have been better off.
