So now we know what really happened to Jack Lalanne, the “Godfather of Fitness”—he didn’t die in 2011, but instead moved to Marigold’s world…because Mister Ed did the same hindquarters dance (glossy in his case) to Jack Lalanne’s lead in 1961 (see: https://www.google.com/#q=Mister+Ed+Psychoanalyst+Show ). The only thing Marigold didn’t do, which Mister Ed did, was shout “Swing it, Jack!” :-)

My mare would perform that dance when she came into heat. Any stallions that saw it would go wild. It must be a unicorn courtship display.

If I’d seen this yesterday, I wouldn’t have had to spend the evening googling “twerking”.

At least her tongue wasn’t hanging out the whole time…

I remember that episode, and a few others where Mister Ed did that dance. :-)

Funny how a term seems to come out of nowhere and suddenly you hear it everywhere, ubiquitous in pop culture and references — and it turns out it that it actually originated long before it became entrenched in the vernacular. Such is the case with twerking.
