You assume that, if you’re not going to get to kill some Ay-rabs and maybe some of our own young people, that it must be a case of Putin conspiring to make Obama do things his way. It couldn’t possibly be international diplomacy, a year of behind-the-scenes wrangling or, y’know, good news.
“Just like those liberals to try to make Obama look good in all this.”
And we all know that nothing Obama can do can ever be worthwhile. The best we can hope for is that the plan fails, so Obama can look as bad as we want him to. Too bad about the Syrians, but—you know—priorities…..
I have to agree, Newenglandah. It may have been an accidental solution but by not shooting from the hip or the lip, Mr. Obama gave Russia and Syria time to consider what might be about to happen and neither of those two countries wanted to see the US launch on Syria. Accidental solutions are still solutions. Let’s hope the ‘success’ continues, but more deliberately.Respectfully,C.
^^Well, considering there were no weapons, or trucks, the lie did get bigger, and those without a brain, or facts, believed them. We took care of Saddam’s “weapons” by 93, as proven in reports, and even Pitt and Ritter’s book “The War on Iraq”, in 2002, before Bush even got us into that brainless mess he totally screwed up at every step!
