You tell her, Charlie Brown!

Yep, Charlie Brown is abusing the power of the sash and badge. Big mistake, principal.

Charlie, you wanted attention, you GOT attention.

Who’d be jealous of a snitch? More like a hygiene problem of Brown Charlie’s.

A jealous BLEAH?

Respect mah AUTHORITEH!!!

It’s mean girl Violet – it’s a jealous “Bleah!”

No matter what Charlie Brown has been able to do, he never gets any respect from anyone.

I can see why Violet sort of faded out of the strip. Her main function was to be mean to Charlie Brown, and Lucy more than had that covered.

A. You’ll never please everyone. B. You have to be willing to face criticism, warranted or unwarranted, when taking a position of authority. C. Charlie Brown is already familiar with these principles from managing a ball team. – You go, CB!

Let’s see, first there was Lucy with that insulting “Bleah!” Now there’s Frieda with the insult of some folks getting obnoxious and Violet with the insulting “Bleah!” Yep, I was right the other day, Charlie Brown is being viewed as a nobody with a badge.

I call this the “Hall Monitor Syndrome.” It persists in some people in the form of Home Owners’ Association President or Captain of the Bowling Team or, alas, in the workplace.

Absolute power corrupts, absolutely,.

Ok…Why couldn’t he say that to Lucy?

I think Charlie Brown is doing an excellent job…

BUT he needs to tone it down a bit.

Freida, as much as I like your naturally curly red hair, I think giving Charlie Brown a club is a good idea - considering the way you all talk to him.

Violet must’ve been reading up on the (in)famous Stanford Prison Experiment. That was creepy in a lot of ways.

It was a joke, sir, about a comic strip. I do not ever personally advocate violence against ANYone. Considering that this strip often has Lucy “advocating” violence (“I’ll give you five reasons…”) and her and others bullying each other, you might want to consider skipping this particular strip in your daily reading. Sometimes people FEEL like “strangling” somebody or “beating” them with a club. It doesn’t mean they would really do it.
