Why doesn’t she take out the garbage? After all, most of it is her inedible cooking!

Hmm. This might be a lesson in delegation, or maybe chain of command, or how the trash moves through channels.

Works kind of the same way in our house, though I am more up front about it than the dad. i will tell one of my kids that mom wanted the trash taken out, would you do that for mom please?

Of course that only works because of setting a good example in the first place.

When I’m asked to take out the trash, I do it immediately.

CLASSIC case of passing the buck, and then taking false credit on top of it. Wonder if Andy hassled Roger earlier in a similar pattern as the first three panels, only with Peter’s name getting mentioned? Wouldn’t surprise me. XD
